Basic Workshop Instructor Certification Training
Program Overview and Prerequisites
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Certified PSYCH-K® / PER-K® Instructor. Following is an overview of our vision for the program and its Instructors.
Overview:
The overall goal for the Instructor program is to have as few highly qualified Instructors as possible, teaching as many individuals as possible, worldwide. It is my goal as the head of the organization to maintain an active relationship with all the Instructors, hence the need to restrict the number of Instructors. Further, it is equally important that the quality of the relationships among all Instructors is one of mutual respect, trust, and collaboration, as well as a shared passion and commitment to make a positive difference in the world. These personality traits and interpersonal skills are necessary to be a successful Certified Instructor. Operating as a community, while maintaining our unique individuality, is our goal. I refer to this operational philosophy as Sacred Reciprocity.
If the above philosophy doesn’t meet your desires, skills, or preferences, or the below requirements are not appropriate for your situation or skills, and you would like to consider an alternative affiliation with the PSYCH-K Centre, please select the following link, PSYCH-K Centre Preferred Affiliate.
PSYCH-K / PER-K Basic Workshop Instructor Training
Completion of the Certification Training will entitle Instructors to teach the two-day PSYCH-K Basic and/or PER-K Workshops. Instructors will have the legal right to advertise their status as Certified Instructors of the workshops. They will also have the legal right, as per the License Agreement (contact the PSYCH-K Centre for more information about the Instructor’s Licensing Agreement), to use the PSYCH-K® and/or PER-K® trade names and logos in advertising and marketing to promote the workshops and themselves. Certified Instructors are free to teach the workshops anywhere in the world. There are no "territories.”
Prerequisites for the Basic Workshop Instructor Training
All Prospective Candidates will have:
- Successfully completed the Basic and Advanced PSYCH-K workshops.
- Secured a recommendation from one or both of their Basic and Advanced
workshop Instructors. (A recommendation from both Instructors is preferred.) - Appropriate marketing resources and group presentation skills, to be determined by the Certifying Agent.
- Sponsored at least two PSYCH-K Basic or PER-K Workshops to be taught by an existing Certified PSYCH-K and/or PER-K Instructor. Each workshop must have at least 12 participants who attend as a direct result of the sponsor's marketing resources. Addtitional participants may come from other sources. Provided—at least sixty (60) days prior to the training—a written plan for marketing PSYCH-K and/or PER-K. A favorable review of the marketing plan is a prerequisite to attending the training.

This video will include the prospective Instructor Candidate facilitating the New Direction and Resolution Balances, as well as the VAK to the Future goal setting process. The prospective Instructor Candidate may work with a friend, spouse, or client in the video. The point of the video is to demonstrate a working knowledge of the procedures you will be learning to teach. A favorable review of the video by the Certifying Agent is a prerequisite to attending the training.
- Provided at least three letters of professional reference, at least sixty days prior to the training program.
Maintaining Certified Instructor Status
Certified Instructors must purchase and use a minimum of 30 PSYCH-K or PER-K student packets during the first twelve month period of certification; a minimum of 50 packets during the second 12 month period; and a minimum of 100 packets each twelve month period thereafter, in order to maintain their status as a Certified Instructor. Note that the purchase requirement for the first packet period is satisfied at the time of Certification. However, it is still necessary to use the packets to teach students the PSYCH-K/PER-K skills during each twelve-month period.
Duration and Location of Certification Training
The Instructor’s training is a six-day event. Trainings are usually held in Denver, Colorado. Travel, lodging and meals are not included in the training fee. Certification Candidates must demonstrate suitable skills, in the estimation of the Certifying Agent, to be awarded Certification status. Should the Candidate not demonstrate suitable skills, half the training fee will be returned to the Candidate. The other half of the fee is non-refundable. However, by mutual consent, the Candidate may return at a later date, pay half of the current Certification training fee, and take the Certification training again.
Tuition for Training and Certification
The six-day Certification Training is $5,000, which must be paid in full one week prior to Certification training. Upon successful completion of the Certification Training Program the PSYCH-K Basic / PER-K Instructor will receive:
